Smart warehousing is entering an operation stage of high density and high turnover. Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) have higher requirements for the accuracy and reliability of three-dimensional environment perception. Traditional solutions have perception blind spots when facing scenarios such as suspended forks, highly reflective pallets, and intersections of people and machines in the aisles. The Sensor Microchip Sensor Division (including Silicon Print Technology) has launched a series of iToF/PToF depth perception modules, which are specifically adapted for AMR's multi-scenario operations and have been verified on a large scale in several logistics warehousing enterprises. Currently, the CS20, CS20-P, CS30, and CS40/CS40 Pro modules cover scenarios such as pallet recognition, dynamic obstacle avoidance, panoramic fusion, and outdoor operations.

I. Product Matrix: Precise Adaptation Based on Different Scenarios
The Siu Microchip sensor has developed a clear and well-structured five-module matrix, and has differentiated technical indicators for different working conditions in the warehouse and logistics.

1. CS20 Solid-state Lidar - A Cost-effective Solution for Indoor Perception
Based on the iToF technology route, it is equipped with 640×480/320×240 resolution TOF image sensors, with an effective range of 0.1m to 5m. While maintaining low power consumption, it ensures long-distance perception capabilities and can accurately identify suspended shelves and highly reflective metal pallets.
Application scenarios: Scanning workstations in warehouses, size measurement nodes, static pose positioning of pallets
Core value: Balancing performance and cost, building a perception base for automated nodes

2. CS20-P Ethernet depth camera - Dynamic obstacle avoidance solution for mobile platforms
Equipped with a 320×240 resolution TOF image sensor with a frame rate of 30 fps. Utilizing a 6-core aviation connector for integrated power supply and TCP/IP data transmission, it simplifies the system wiring. The H100°×V75° ultra-wide field of view combined with centimeter-level measurement accuracy provides real-time obstacle avoidance data stream during AMR movement.
Application scenarios: Obstacle detection in high-speed AMR movement
Core value: Ultra-wide field of view coverage, simplifies system integration on mobile platforms

3. CS30 Lightweight RGBD Depth Camera - Human-Machine Separation Panoramic Fusion Solution
Equipped with a 640×480 resolution TOF image sensor and a 1920×1080 resolution color image sensor. It synchronously outputs depth and color images through the Type-C interface, achieving real-time alignment of 3D point clouds and 2D textures.
Application scenarios: Human-machine identification at the corners of aisles and shelves
Core value: Accurately distinguish workers wearing reflective vests from stationary shelf posts, avoiding false braking at the source of perception

4. CS40 High-Performance PToF 3D Camera - Wide-Area Obstacle Avoidance and Outdoor Universal Solution
Equipped with a 640×480 resolution PToF image sensor, with a large field of view of 90°×70°, it covers an indoor range of 0.3m to 5m and an outdoor range of 0.3m to 4m. It supports dual protocols of 100Mbps Ethernet and RS485 for long-distance transmission, with an IP67 protection rating. The built-in hardware processing platform enables users to integrate various application algorithms.
Application scenarios: Semi-outdoor platforms, outdoor transfer areas
Core value: Reduces the reliance on the backend main control system's computing power and adapts to outdoor environments.

5. CS40 Pro Industrial Long-distance PToF Camera - Full Link Severe Environment Solution
Equipped with a 640×480 resolution PToF image sensor and a 1600×1200 resolution RGB image sensor, it adopts a quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A55 processing platform and a 1 TOPS NPU. The working distance is extended to 0.5m to 10m (suitable for both indoor and outdoor, with 90% reflectivity), supporting Gigabit Ethernet and POE power supply, operating within a -20℃ to 60℃ wide temperature range, and with IP67 protection level.
Application scenarios: Cold chain warehouses, outdoor platforms, etc., in harsh logistics nodes
Core value: Ensuring the all-link logistics nodes operate safely 24/7

II. Technical Foundation: Self-developed Perception Engine and Vehicle-Grade Production System
The module matrix is based on the self-developed iToF/PToF three-dimensional perception technology, which generates dense 3D point cloud data in real time, giving AMR the true ability to understand the three-dimensional space. This technical path effectively suppresses the noise interference from warehouse ceiling lights and side windows, upgrading the obstacle avoidance logic of AMR from a passive reactive mode to an active dynamic local path planning.
Relying on the global IDM system of the group, the LFoundry wafer factory in Italy has passed the IATF 16949:2016 automotive quality management system certification and passed the VDA6.3 process audit with an A grade (96 points). Wafer-level optical components and vehicle-grade packaging processes ensure the production consistency and long-term reliability of the delivered modules.
III. Empowering AMR: Building a Warehouse Safety Perception Foundation
AMR evolves from being able to move to being able to think, and three-dimensional depth perception has become the core threshold for warehouse safety and operational efficiency. The CS20, CS20-P, CS30, CS40/CS40 Pro module matrix provides enterprises in warehouse logistics with graded perception options from indoor to outdoor 24/7, providing a safe, efficient, and reliable perception foundation for high-density and high-flow intelligent warehouse scenarios.
